Gianluigi Landoni graduated in architecture from Politecnico di Milano. In 1985 he founded the design trend group “Amalgama”. He worked for Rodolfo Bonetto studio from 1988 to 1990, and since 1997 has been partner of Progetica Design studio, where he carries out a research and development project of industrial and product design. He also founded the multidisciplinary studio ALTROdesign with Rosaria Sofia Galli. Since 2001 he has been working independently as a consultant for design-oriented companies in various fields, and also designs furnishings for companies in residential and commercial projects. He participates in numerous exhibitions and competitions, and has received prizes and awards, including tje mention in 1991 edition of Compasso d’Oro and the subsequent Compasso d’Oro Award in the 1998 edition. He is a member of the Permanent Design Observatory, the ADI Design Index and the ADI Lombardy Board of Directors.
