XYZ – SMALL 3C

Curiosity and an interest in small gestures are the basis of this exercise which, like a game, explores the aspectand properties of a surface, seen as a space that can be brought to life, designed and sensitized using the mostvaried means and elements. An intertwining created by the repetition and superimposing of segments placedat equal distances becomes a shower of marks whose thickness increases and decreases, the surface come salive and pulsates. This perception of movement is generated by the combination of colours amongst the background – giving three-dimensionality to a flat surface.
