In 2016 Texturae was founded by Daniele Morabito in Reggio Calabria. Texturae is the result of the evolving entrepreneurial experience that years before had led to the foundation of Karpeta; a company dedicated to the production of rugs.

Daniele transformed his family’s passion for collecting antiques with his personal interest in furniture into a brand with an innovative character dedicated to the pursue of excellence. His careful observation of the markets new trends led him to focus on the potentiality of wallpaper; the idea that a simple décor element could become a driver of emotional design.

By studying the use of colours combined with a focus on different textures and patterns, Daniele managed to naturally shift his focus from rugs to walls and decorates them as if a continuum with the floor.

The idea took shape in 2014 and after two years of research and work on both the artistic and productive sides, Texturae was launched in Milan at Fuorisalone.

The company immediately stood out for its innovative spirit and tendency to work with multifaceted international artists, united by an evocative language that involved the power of imagination.

Texturae has continued to grow over the years – thanks to important artistic collaborations and corporate investments in research and development – always eager to offer innovative, sustainable and highly performant materials and increase its value through solid relations and self-awareness.
