Lauren Clay
Sculptor living and working in New York. In 2004, she received a BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design and in 2007, she obtained an MFA in Painting from Virginia Commonwealth University. Clay has exhibited extensively throughout the United States. She has been featured in several publications in America, including the New York Times, Sculpture Magazine, Bomb Magazine, and Art. In 2016, she created her site-specific installation, “The Cithara and Aulos,” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Also in 2016, she published her artist book, Subtle Body, with Small Editions, New York.
