Materials
For the printing of its collections, Texturae has chosen different types of high-performing and technical supports to be able to satisfy different design requirements and needs.
Each graphic has been designed to guarantee the best colour rendering and maximum reproduction accuracy of the design to adapt it to different supports. Texturae’s graphic department is readily available for the customer to evaluate and suggest the most suitable technical and decorative solutions for their requirements.
(T)ech
This high-performance support is made up of a non-woven fabric base and a vinyl upper part. The surface is both washable and flame-resistant.
The combination of these materials guarantees durability and flexibility when hanging. It is particularly suitable for highly-frequented interiors with irregular shapes (walls, doors, ceilings).
Me(T)
The vinyl covering is enhanced with silver reflections thanks to a metallic base on which the design is printed. ME(T) has the same technical characteristics of durability as (T)ECH, as well as being practical to hang, maintain and remove.
The iridescent effect plays with the light which brightens and enhances a space.
Insula(T)
This is a sound absorbing covering which improves acoustics in interior spaces.
Made up of different layers of vinyl material, it produces an excellent balance between the absorption and reflection of sound waves by eliminating the “echo” effect and at the same time, isolation from outdoor sounds. Its technical and aesthetic characteristics are similar to vinyl and in addition, it carries out the function of sound absorption.
We(T)
Fibreglass is the ideal covering for highly-frequented areas and humid environments. It has a strong resistance to scratches, is UV-resistant and does not turn yellow.
It is also low-maintenance and hypo-allergenic.
Its resistance to humidity and heatproof qualities make it ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, spas and gyms.
Na(T) – Flow
This delicate interweaving of paper fibres creates a subtle, yet strong weft for a highly refined coverings.
Its material quality is apparent both to the eye and to the touch. The basic colour tends to be more cream for an antique, almost vintage effect by de-saturating colours and providing visual relaxation to the space
Na(T) – Lucens
Lucens is a support in pure linen, a completely natural and sustainable fabric with an irregular texture that lends movement.
The colour of the raw fibre ranges from hints of ivory, ecru, brown and grey and creates a deliberately ‘stained’ effect, while the natural sheen of the material exalts the colour of the print.
Na(T) – Raw
The material used is Sisal, a completely sustainable fiber from a particular type of agave that, once woven, produces a very resistant fabric.
The effect is rough to the sight and touch, in the name of a radical aesthetic that is expressed in ecological materials. In its raw state, it has striped veins and a striking texture that gives movement and recalls the naturalness of materials such as bamboo or rice paper and for this reason it lends itself to oriental-themed prints.
Na(T) – Bloom
This is a more structured version of yarn obtained by intertwining paper fibers. The meshes are wider and more evident and the weave is rounder creating a more three-dimensional effect.
The pure white color makes the color contrast more distinct. The eye-catching texture enhances the printing of floral papers or designs in which lines and details need to be highlighted.
The TNT backing provides resistance and makes it easier to lay.
Prin(T)
The ecological version of non-woven fabric produced by combining cellulose fibres. This type of support represents the evolution of traditional wallpaper; it has the effect of paper to the touch while maintaining the characteristic strengths typical of non-woven fabrics.
The smooth weft enhances both complex and geometric patterns and the use of a natural fibre without formaldehyde makes it a versatile and sustainable choice; ideal for interior spaces in homes and public spaces.
Prin(T) – Net
Fiberglass is the ideal covering for humid and high-traffic environments. It has great resistance to abrasion and scratches, does not yellow and resists ultraviolet rays.
It requires minimal maintenance and is hypoallergenic.
It is ideal for spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, spas and gyms thanks to its resistance to humidity and heat.
Prin(T) – Drop
A delicate interweaving of paper yarns. A thin but resistant weave that becomes a covering and stands out for its refined execution. The materiality is perceived by sight and expressed by touch.
The base color turns cream and creates an antique, almost vintage effect, desaturating the colors and giving visual relaxation to the spaces.
Prin(T) – Honeycomb
It is the embossed version of PRINT. The material used is the same but the surface has a relief pattern obtained by pressure which embellishes the material, enhancing the decorative effect of the print. It is possible to choose between different textures, including: honeycomb, drops, tartan and traces.

Modularity
All the graphics in the Texturae catalogue have been designed to cover standard walls measuring 423 cm wide by 300 cm high, with a modular subdivision into 47 cm panels for printing on (T)ECH and PRIN(T), 67 cm for printing on ME(T) and INSULA(T) materials, 85 cm for NA(T)URE materials, and 94 cm for printing on WE(T).
However, each individual request is processed by our team of designers and graphic designers, who create a custom project, perfectly adapting the selected design to the environment or surface it will cover. Each decorative solution thus becomes a unique project, as unique as the environment that hosts it.

Inks
Texturae’s inks hold certificates of excellence that ensures maximum respect for the environment, provenance of raw materials and safe usage.
They are water-based and odourless, which are completely suitable for any environment, even for particular conditions such as, restaurants and health facilities. They are non-flammable, non-combustible and nickel-free.
These high quality inks are ideal for both large and small surfaces.
They do not require warning labels according to EU Directive 1999/45 / EC.
